notification for recruitment of 2649 Prison Warder (Kakshpal) in Home (Prisons)
Department, Govt. of Bihar, has been issued by Central Selection Board of
Constable. Out of total vacancies, 25% vacancies are reserved for Trained Home
Guard and 25% for Ex-servicemen of Bihar State. Candidates who have Passed
Intermediate Examination (10+2) are eligible to apply for the post. Online

Qualifications: Intermediate
or equivalent qualification from recognized board.
Age Limit: Minimum
age limit is 18 years. Maximum age limit for UR (Male) is 23 years, 25 years
for BC/EBC (Male), 26 years for UR/BC/EBC (Female) and 28 years for SC/ST
(Male, Female) candidates. Relaxation in age for Home Guards will be given upto
05 years. Upper age limit for Ex-Servicemen is 45 years.
Selection Process: Candidates
on the said post will be selected on the basis Written Examination, Physical
Measurement, Physical Test and Medical Examination.
Written Examination: This
written examination will be of 300 Marks consisting of 100 Multiple Choice
Questions. Each question carries 03 Marks. This examination will be of 2 Hours.
Minimum qualifying marks will be 30% of total marks.
Physical Measurement:
Height: 165 cms for UR/BC (Male),
162 cms for EBC (Male), 160 cms for SC/ST (Male) and 155 cms for Female of all
categories. Chest (Only for Male): 81 cms with 5 cms
expansion for UR, BC, EBC, 79 cms with 5 cms expansion for SC / ST Candidates.
Physical Test: (1). Run: 01 Mile in 06 Minutes for
Male, 01 Kilometer in 06 Minutes for Female. (02). High Jump: Minimum 4 Foot for Male and 3 Foot for Female. (03). Long Jump: Minimum 12 Foot for Male and 9 Foot for
Female. (04). Shot Put: 16 Pound
Throw 16 Foot for Male and 12 Pound Throw 10 Foot for Female.
Application Fee:
Rs.450 for UR, EBC, BC (Male, Female) and Rs.200 for SC / ST (Male, Female).
