Rail Wheel Factory, Ministry of Railways, has issued a notification to
fill up 192 vacancies of Trade
Apprentice in various Trades. Only those candidates who have passed ITI (NCTVT)
from a recognized Institute are eligible to apply. Interested candidates who
meet eligibility criteria can apply in prescribed format. Duly furnished
application must reach the given address on or before 15/07/2015. Name of the Trades and Community wise vacancy details
can be seen in the following paragraphs.

3% of total seats are reserved for PWD candidates.
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates should have passed Matriculation Examination with Science (Physics
& Chemistry) OR they should have
equivalent qualification.
Technical Qualifications:
Candidates must have ITI (NCTVT Certificate) in any of above mentioned trade
from a recognized industrial training institute.
Age Limit: Age limit
will be calculated as on 01/07/2015. On this date, candidates must have
completed 15 years. Upper age limit of the candidates should not be more than
24 years. Relaxation in age for SC / ST will be given upto 05 years and for OBC
will be given upto 03 years.
Duration of Apprenticeship:
Duration of apprenticeship will be of one year for trades at SL No.01 to 06,
and Six months for trade at SL No. 07.
How to Apply: Aspiring
and eligible candidates can apply in prescribed application format as given in
the detailed notification. Along with application, candidates are required to
send copies of SSLC, ITI and Caste Certificate in support of Date of Birth,
Educational / Technical Qualification and Caste (such as SC / ST / OBC).
Complete application with complete postal address and pin code must reach “The Assistant Personnel Officer, Rail
Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore-64” by 15/07/2015. Cover of the
application must be super scribed as “Application
for undergoing training as Trade Apprentice”.
