Notification-No:-01/2015: Medical Services Recruitment Board (MRB) requires 7243 Nurses on contract basis on consolidated pay of Rs.7700 PM. Men and Women both are eligible to apply for the post. Recruitment of Nurse will be made by conducting written examination only. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the post by closing date 11/05/2015.

Qualifications: Candidates should have Degree or Diploma in Nursing from Govt. Recognized Institute and should be registered with Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council. Candidates should possess the said qualifications as on 19/04/2015.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and should not have completed 58 years as on 01/07/2015. (This is applicable for all categories including Ex-service Women).

Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of marks obtained in written examination only. Oral Test (Interview) will not be conducted for this post.

Exam Patten: Written Examination will be of 100 marks. It will contain 200 multiple choice questions. This test will be of 2.30 Hours. Questions will be in the standard of Diploma Level in nursing and will be set in English. The test does not carry negative marking for wrong answer.

Application Fee: Rs.300 for SC / SCA / ST and Rs.600 for all other candidates. Besides application fee, candidates will have to pay service charges to the bank. Payment of fee can be made Online / Offline.
