PST/PET
• Height: General / SC / OBC – 170 CMS for Male & 157 for Female.
• Height for ST Candidates is 162.5 for Male & 157 for Female.
• Run: 5 Kms in 24 Minutes for Male and 1.6 Kms in 8 ½ Minutes for Female.
Selection Process:
Computer Based Examination (CBE), PET, PST & Medical Examination.
Application Fee:
Rs.100 for General / OBC. No fee for SC/ST & Female Candidates.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notification for Constable Vacancy 2018 and the same has been published in Employment News / Rozgar Samachar Dated 21/07/2018. According to this Recruitment Notification, Commission is going to fill up 54953 vacant posts of Constable General Duty in CAPFs, NIA, SSF as well as Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Women Candidates are also encouraged to apply against this notification. There an open Examination (Computer Based) will be held for selection to the post of Constable GD & Assam Rifles. Candidates should fill online form to apply for this recruitment. Pay Scale is Rs.21700 -69100.

• Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 Years for SC, 03 years for OBC and for Ex-Servicemen as per Rule.
PST/PET

• Run: 5 Kms in 24 Minutes for Male and 1.6 Kms in 8 ½ Minutes for Female.
• Chest: 80 cms with 5 cms expansion for UR/SC/OBC Candidates and 76 cms with 5 cms expansion for ST Candidates.
Selection Process:
Computer Based Examination (CBE), PET, PST & Medical Examination.
• Computer Based Examination will be conducted in English and Hindi Only. 10 Times Candidates of total Number of Vacancies will be shortlisted for Physical Test and Physical Standard Test. Call Letter for Computer Based Examination will be uploaded on concerned regional SSC website. Minimum qualifying marks for General / Ex-Servicemen is 35% and for SC/ST/OBC is 33%.
