Dept of Posts Exam Pattern / Syllabus for Postman, Mail Guard, MTS Test

Maharashtra Circle Exam Pattern 2015: Department of Posts, Maharashtra Circle has issued two different notifications for appointment of Postman / Mail Guard and MTS Posts. To select deserving candidates on the posts, DOP will conduct Aptitude Test that covers different subjects / topic. This test will be of Class 10th Level. Have a looking the plan of examination and syllabus.

Important Notes
  • Total time of 120 Minutes has been allotted for answering the questions.
  • Candidates note that examiner may set 01 to 03 questions from each topic above mentioned in the table.
  • In addition to English language, questions on GK and Mathematics will also be supplied in Marathi / Konkani language.
  • In the part-A, B & C, minimum qualifying marks is 10 for OC, 08 for SC / ST and 09 for OBC in each part.
  • Total qualifying marks 40% for OC, 37% for OBC and 33% for SC/ST.

Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of merit in Aptitude Test for Maharashtra and Goa State as a whole.
