Advt.No.-02/2014: A notification regarding Medical Officer Jobs in Jharkhand has been issued by Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Ranchi. Online application for this post will be filled up by 23rd Nov-2014 through website of JPSC www.jpsc.gov.in. There are 556 Medical Officer Vacancies for candidates belonging to different categories. Medical Officer (Basic Cadre)
  • Vacancy: 556 Posts (UR-294, SC-37, ST-225)
  • Qualification: MBBS Degree from University recognized by Medical Council of India / State Government and they should have obtained Registration Number from MCI / State Medical Council. In addition, candidates should have obtained Internship of at least one year from Medical College Hospital recognized by MCI / State Government.
  • Age Limit: Minimum age should be 23 years and Maximum 35 years for UR, 37 years for BC-I, II, 38 years for Female (UR/BC-II, II) and 40 years for SC / ST (Male & Female).  
  • Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 + Rs.5400 GP

Selection Process & Exam Pattern: Written examination and oral test will be conducted for selection of eligible candidates for MO Post. Written Examination consists of four papers; each paper carries 100 marks and will be of 2 Hours. Interview will be of 40 Marks.

Application Fee: Rs.468 for UR / BC-I, II and Rs.168 for SC / ST. Payment of application fee can be made at any branch of SBI using Challan.

How to Apply: Eligible & aspiring candidates can Apply Online for Medical Officer post through the website www.jpsc.gov.in by closing date 23/11/2014 till 12 midnight. After submission of online application, take a print out of it and send with copies of requisite documents through Registered / Speed Post to "Controller of Examination, Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Circular Road, Ranchi - 834001" on or before 08/12/2014 till 5 PM.
