DLW Varanasi 200 Act Apprentice Vacancy for ITI Pass 2014 - Indian Railways

Under Apprentice Act 1961 (40^th ITI Batch), Diesel Locomotive Works Varanasi is going to make a panel of 200 ITI qualified candidates for Apprentice Training. Changes in the number of vacancies of Apprentice can be made as per requirements. Aspiring candidates having suitable qualifications can apply against this notification and send application on or before 29^th Oct-2014. Qualifications: Matriculation with ITI in concerned trade as on 01/07/2014. Appearing candidates are not eligibility to apply.

Age Limit: Completed 15 years and below 24 years as on 01/01/2015. For Welder, Sheet Metal and Carpenter Trade, age of candidates should be between 15 years and 22 years. Relaxation in age will be given upto 5 years for SC / ST and 03 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of marks obtain in Matric Examination and ITI. If the marks of candidates are equal, then merit will be decided on the basis of date of birth. If the date of birth is same, then it will be decided on the basis of Date of Passing ITI Examination. Those who have passed ITI before will be senior.  

Application Fee: Rs.100 for UR and OBC candidates. Candidates can make payment in the form of Postal Order or Bank Draft or make payment at Cash office of Dereka. SC / ST / PH / E-Servicemen / Female Candidates need not to pay application fee.

How to Apply: Application against this notification will be made only in prescribed format. Duly furnished application with copy of requisite documents and Postal Order / Bank Draft / Payment Receipt of Rs.100 (if applicable) must reach “Regional Sewayojan Office Varanasi” by 29/10/2014. Dependants and Children of Railway Employee, who are eligible to apply under Act Apprentice, should deposit application form in the box kept at office of General Manager / Personnel.
