SSC Lower Division Grade Ltd. Departmental Examination 2015 & Exam Pattern

A Limited Departmental Competitive Exam 2015 is going to be by conducted by Staff Selection Commission for recruitment to vacancies in Lower Division Grade Reserved for Regularly appointed Group-C Staff in GP of Rs.1800 in various services. Number of Vacancies is yet to be confirmed. Commission is going to conduct this examination on 05/04/2015 at various cities across the country. Aspiring and eligible candidates can apply for this examination by sending duly completed paper application to SSC on or before closing date 16th Feb-2015.

  • Qualifications: Candidates should have rendered not less than 3 years regular service as Group-C employee in Pay Band Rs.1800. They should have passed Class 12th Examination form a recognized board.
  • Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on 01/01/2015. There will be 5 years relaxation in age for SC / ST candidates.

Pay Scale: (PB-I) Rs.5200-20200 + Rs.1900 GP

Exam Pattern: A written examination will be conducted of 200 Marks. The exam comprises two papers, Paper-I Short Essay (Hindi or English) of 100 Marks (Time duration: 1.30 Hours) and Paper-II (Objective Type) General English or Saamanya Hindi, GK (English or Hindi) of 100 marks (Time duration: 2 Hours). Objective Type Paper carries negative marking, 0.25 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates are required to download prescribed application form the Commission’s website http://ssc.nic.in, fill it up with correct details, paste a passport size photograph on it and put signature to the space provided. Duly furnished application with requisite documents must reach the “Regional Director (NR), Staff Selection Commission, Block No.12, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110504” by closing date 06/04/2015 till 5 PM. Application of candidates from Far-flung area, must reach by 23/02/2015 till 5 PM.
