CRPF ASI/Steno Recruitment 2016
Ministry of Home
Affairs, Govt. Of India Has issued a notification for recruitment of Assistant
Sub Inspector (Steno) in Central Reserve Police Force in Pay Scale of Rs.5200-20200
with Rs.2800 Grade Pay. The Minimum pay will be Rs.8560 Per Month. Eligible
candidates can apply online against 229 vacancies from 01/02/2016 to
01/03/2016 by visiting the website www.crpfindia.com.

Educational
Qualifications:
Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a board recognized by
Central / State Government. Note: 2 or 3 years diploma certificate obtained
in technical education after 10th Class is not equivalent to intermediate.
Skill Test on
Computer – Dictation
– 10 Minutes at 80 WPM, Transcription time – 50 Minutes in English or 65
Minutes in Hindi.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01/03/2016.
i.e. Born between 02/03/1991 and 01/03/1998. For SC / ST and OBC candidates,
there will be relaxation in age up 05 years and 03 years respectively.
Physical
Standard: Height:
165 cms for Male and 155 cms for Female for all candidates except ST
candidates. 162.5 cms for Male and 150 cms for Female for candidates from
far-flung are and ST candidates. Chest – 77 cms (Unexpanded) and 82 cms
(Expanded) for UR/OBC/SC candidates, 76 cms (Unexpanded) and 81 cms (Expanded)
for ST Candidates. Weight – Corresponding to height and age as per
medical standard for Male and Female Candidates.
Selection
Process: Selection
will be completed in Two Phases; First Phase: - Written
Examination, and Second Phase: - (i). PST / Scrutiny of
Documents, (ii). Skill Test, (iii). Medical Examination. Only
those candidates will be called for 2nd Phase who qualify in 1st
Phase of this recruitment process. There no interview will be conducted. Schedule
of First phased will be available at CRPF website. Candidates will not be paid
TA / DA for appearing in the 1st and 2nd Phase of this
recruitment process.

written examination will be of 225 Marks consisting of two Parts. Duration of
the test will be 2.30 Hours.

Section B, C
and D of Part-I will be set as Bilingual. Paper-II will also be set as
Bilingual. Qualifying marks in Part-I will be 35% (70 Marks) for SC / ST and 40% (80 Marks) for General / OBC Candidates.
Marks obtained in Part-II (Descriptive Paper) will be added in Final Merit
List. Part-II will not have any minimum qualifying marks. Final Merit list will
be prepared on the basis of Marks obtained in Paper-I and Part-II.

Candidates. SC / ST / EXS and all Women candidates need not pay fee. Mode of payment
of fee is SBI CHALLAN or NET BANKING or CREDIT / DEBIT CARD of
any other banks.

Online application can be filled up till 01/03/2016. Scanned photograph
and signature will be required at the time of online application. They must
have Email Id and Mobile Phone Numbers for this application.
Procedure for
Online Application:
- Online application includes Three Parts. (1). Part-I
Registration (Personal Details), (2). Part-II Registration
(Upload Photograph & Signature) and (3). Part-III Registration (Payment
of Fee through Net Banking / Debit / Credit Card or through SBI Challan).
- For Part-I Registration, visit www.crpfindia.com and www.crpf.nic.in, go to ‘New
Registration’ and fill up required details and submit.
- In Part-II – Upload Passport Size photograph (8-JPG, Resolution – 100*120
Pixel, Between 4 & 12 kb) and Signature (8-JPG, Resolution –
140*60 Pixel, Between 4 and 12 kb) and submit. After submission, a page
with Registration Number will be generated. Candidates are required to
note down this number or take print of the page.
- In Part-III – General / OBC (Male) candidates are required to make payment of
application fee through SBI Challan or using Debit / Credit Card or
through Net Banking.
- After final submission, candidates need to take print out of
application.
