A notification for recruitment of Assistant
Manager and Executive in different
disciplines has been issued by Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India,
in short DFCCIL. This is a schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Undertaking. Aspiring
candidates who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for the posts can apply
online through the website www.dfccil.gov.in from 27/06/2014 to
11/07/2014. A written examination and interview for Asst Manager Posts and only
written test for Executive posts will be conducted for selection of eligible
candidates. More details in this context can be seen in the following paragraphs.

Qualifications: Graduate Degree in engineering in relevant disciplines with
60 Marks and Post Qualification Experience of 03 years for Assistant Manager
Post. Engineering Diploma of 03 years in
relevant disciplines with 60% Marks for Executive Post. Pass Final examination of
CA / ICWA or MBA (Finance) with 60% Marks for Executive (Finance) Post.
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years for entire the above posts. Age will be calculated
as on 30/06/2014. Relaxation in upper age limit will be 05 years for SC / ST
and 03 years for OBC category.
Selection Process: Selection for the post of Assistant Manager will be
made by conducting written examination and interview and for the post of
Executive will be made by conducing written test only. Written test for post of
Executive (Cluster-A) will be conducted from 10 AM to 12 Noon and for post of
Assistant Manager (Cluster-B) will be conducted from 2 PM to 4 PM. So,
candidates can not apply for more than one post in the same cluster.
Examination Pattern: Written test will be conducted in two sessions in
a single day. Duration of the test will be of 2 Hours. There will be 100
multiple choice questions, out of which, 10 questions will be on General
Knowledge, 10 questions on Reasoning and 80 questions related to post /
discipline for which candidates has applied. The test carries negative marking,
0.25 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted. Written examination will be
organized in Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Mumbai and Kolkata depending on
the response for each centre.
Application Fee: Rs.560 for Asst Manager Post and Rs.260 for Executive
Post. Applicants belonging to SC / ST / PH / EXS category are not required to
pay application fee. Payment of application will be made using system generated
challan of SBI.
How to Apply: Online application will be completed in two steps. In
step-I, candidates are required to fill up application form with proper details
and submit and after submission, note down registration number, password and
take print out of challan and payment fee at designated bank. In Step-II, upload
photograph and signature and submit. Those candidates, who have deposited application
fee at SBI, can check payment status after 48 hours. See the detailed
