Purvanchal Bank, one of Regional Rural Bank, sponsored by State Bank of
India, has notified for recruitment of Officer
Scale-I and Office Assistant
(Multipurpose). Only those candidates are eligible to apply for these posts
who have passed CWE-RRB conducted by IBPS in Sept/Oct 2013. Application for the
job will be made online between 30th May and 20th June
2014. Even payment of application fee will be made during same dates as mentioned

Eligibility Criteria: The same eligibility criteria will be accepted
for the post as prescribed in detailed notification for RRB-CWE-II published in
the Employment News.
Selection Process: On the basis of performance in RRB-CWE-II, candidates
will be called for Personal Interview. Final selection will be made by
preparing a merit list on the basis of CWE score and personal interview that
will be held at Gorakhpur. Personal Interview will be of 30 Marks.
Application Fee: Rs.20 for SC / ST / PWD for Officer Post, Rs.20 for
EXSM and category and Rs.100 for all other category for Office Assistant post. Candidates
have two options to pay application fee, either they can pay fee at any CBS
branch of Purvanchal Bank or State Bank of India using Challan which
is available at www.pgbgorakhpur.com. Fee can be
paid from 30/05/2014 to 20/06/2014.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates having qualifications prescribed can
apply for the job from 30/05/2014 to
20/06/2014 through the website www.pgbgorakhpur.com. Other mode of
application will not be accepted. First of all, candidates are required to make
payment at designated bank and get payment details. Thereafter, visit the bank’s
website, login with correct Registration Number and Password, enter payment details
as well as other information in the form and submit.
Call Letter: Eligible candidates will be issued call letter for interview.
It will be sent by post / courier to the address given in the application form.
Paste a photograph on the call letter and bring it with original payment
receipt and other requisite documents at the centre.
