CBSE UGC NET Notification 2016

National Eligibility Test, popularly known as NET, is a test conducted to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of JRF. University Grant Commission (UGC) of India is organizing this on 10/07/2016. CBSE UGC NET 2016 is going to be conducted in three separate sessions. The test consists of 03 papers. Educational Qualifications

Master’s Degree with 55% Marks (OBC / SC / ST / PWD with 50% Marks) without rounding off or equivalent from UGC recognized university in Humanities and Social Science, Electronics, Computer Science & Applications etc. Such candidates may also apply for this test, who have appeared or going to appear for Master’s Degree (Final Year) Examination and whose result is awaited or those candidates whose qualifying examination has been delayed. Required Age Limit

Not above 28 years as on 01/07/2016 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). There is no age limit for Assistant Professor. Relaxation in age for candidates belonging to OBC / SC / ST / PWD categories and all women candidates will be provided upto 5 years.

UGC NET Schedule 2016

The test will be objective type comprised of 03 Papers and it will be conducted in three different sessions on 10/07/2016 (on Sunday). Paper-I, II & III will be conducted in 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Session Respectively.

Application Fee

Rs.600 for UR, Rs.300 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Rs.150 for SC / ST / PWD Category along with bank charge. Payment of application fee can be made using Bank Challan generated after online registration till 13/05/2016.
