SECL 700 Mining Sirdar Recruitment 2014 South Eastern Coalfields Limited

South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), under jurisdiction of Bilaspur Court, has issued a recruitment notification for Mining Sirdar Post in Technical and Supervisory Grade on basic pay of Rs.19035.02. A written examination and interview will be organized to select deserving candidates on the post. Application for this post can be made online or offline. Mining Sirdar
  • Vacancies: 700 Posts (UR-342, OBC-200, SC-112, ST-46)
  • Basic Pay: Rs.19035.02
  • Qualifications: Class 10th Passed from a recognized board with Sirdar’s competency Certificate issued by DGMS Dhanbad OR Candidates should have Mining & Mine Surveying Certificate of 3 years. Apart from this, candidates should have a valid first aid certificate and a valid Gas testing certificate.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 05/04/2014. Relaxation for SC / ST is 05 years and for OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates is 03 years.

Selection Process: The Process of selection comprises objective type written examination and interview. Candidates who qualify in written examination will be short listed on the basis of performance and will be called for interview. Exam schedule of written examination will be displayed on the website www.secl.gov.in. Candidates will not be provided TA / DA for attending written examination and interview, however, candidates belonging to SC / ST category will be paid to and fro 2nd class train fare for appearing in interview.

How to Apply: Application for the post can be made offline or can be filled up online through the website www.secl.gov.in by 25/03/2014. Duly complete offline application or printout of online application with requisite documents must reach “The General Manager (Manpower), Speed Road Post Box No.60 South Eastern Coalfields Ltd Bilaspur CG 495006” by closing date 05/04/2014. Candidates should send their application by Registered / Speed Post.
