Cabinet Secretariat, Govt. of India LDC & Assistant Recruitment 2014 Selection Process, Exam Pattern

Advt.No.06/13: Cabinet Secretariat, Govt. of India, intends to recruit Lower Division Clerk (LDC) Group-C and Assistant Group-B Posts. Indian Nationals who meet the eligibility criteria for the post can apply and send application in prescribed format as given in the detailed notification. Selection of deserving candidates for the job will be made by conducting competitive written examination, typing test and interview for LDC and written test followed by interview for Assistant post. Eligibility: 12th / Graduation
Last Date: 14/02/2014

Lower Division Clerk (Group-C, Non-Gazetted)
  • Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.1900 GP
  • Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on closing date
  • Qualifications: Class 12th Passed from a recognized board with typing speed of 35 WPM in English and 30 WPM in Hindi on computer.
Assistant (Group-B, Non-Gazetted)
  • Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 + Rs.4600 GP
  • Age Limit: Not more than 30 years as on closing date.
  • Qualification: Graduate Degree from a recognized institute with working knowledge of computer

Age Relaxation: SC / ST candidates will get relaxation upto 5 years and OBC will be provided upto 03 years. Age limit will be calculated as on closing date i.e. 14/02/2014. Go through the circular for more details regarding age relaxation.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern: Written Test, Typewriting Test on computer and Interview will be conducted for selection of Lower Division Clerk post and Written Examination and Interview will be organize to select deserving candidates on the post of Assistant. Have a glance on the exam pattern.

How to Apply: Aspiring candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the post can apply in prescribed application form and send duly furnished application in all respect to the “Post Bag No.001, Lodhi Road Head Post Office, New Delhi – 110003” on or before 14/02/2014. Candidates should send separate application in separate envelope for both posts. Cover of the application must be superscribed as “Application for the post of …………. (Lower Division Clerk / Assistant)”. Application received after this date will not be accepted.

Merit List of qualified candidates has been uploaded at http://www.csbc.bih.nic.in . Those candidates who have passed this examination will be called for Physical Evaluation Test (PET).
