Service Commission is going to conduct Punjab State Civil Services Combined
Competitive Examination (PSCSCCE-2013)
for recruitment of various posts as mentioned below. This examination will be
held on 2nd Feb-2014. However, PPSC reserve the right to make
changes in the date of examination. Aspiring candidates who meet the
eligibility criteria for this exam can apply online through the website http://ppsconline.in
by 30th Dec-2013. Go through the following paragraphs to know more
about this notification.

PPSC PSCSCCE-2013
- Qualifications: Graduation in any subject area from a recognized university / institute. Those candidates who are studying for qualifying degree can also apply and appear for Preliminary Examination but they have to produce proof of qualifying degree course to appear in Mains. In addition, candidates should have passed Punjabi Language upto Matriculation or equivalent.
- Age Limit: 21 years to 38 years as on 01/01/2013. 21 to 28 years in case of Punjab Police Service / Punjab Prisons Service. Candidates of Punjab belonging to SC / BC category will get relaxation of 5 years as per rule. See the detailed notification to know more about age limit.

Structure of Examination: First of all, eligible candidates will be
called for Preliminary Examination and if they qualify in this examination,
they will be called for Main Competitive Exam followed by Viva Voce /
Interview.
Application Fee: Rs.1125 for SC / ST of all states and BC of Punjab,
Rs.500 for EXS of Punjab, Rs.1750 for PH of Punjab and Rs.3000 for all other
categories. Payment of fee will be made at any branch of State Bank of Patiala through
Challan generated after online registration.
How to Apply: Online application can be made till 30/12/2013 through the website http://ppsconline.in. Fill up the
application form with proper details, upload photograph and signature and
submit. Take a copy of challan and pay application fee at designated bank by 02/01/2014.
