Employment-Notice-No.0113: Railway
Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway, Kolkata is going to fill up 2830 vacancies
of group d posts in Pay Band-I Rs.5200-20200+1800 GP. Notification for which
has been issued by RRC ER Kolkata on 04/10/2013 and it is available at www.rrcer.com.
Various Railway Recruitment Cells of others Railway Zones have already published
notification for recruitment of Group D Posts. Aspiring candidates can apply
against RRC Kolkata Group D Recruitment 2013 in prescribed. Duly complete
application must reach at the address of RRC ER by 15th Nov 2013.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who are class 10th Pass or
have ITI diploma or possess equivalent qualifications are eligible to apply for
the post. Age of the applicants must be between 18 and 33 years as on
01/01/2014 which must be mentioned in the admit card of Matric / Higher
Secondary or Equivalent. Relaxation in age for SC / ST will be upto 5 years and
for OBC will be upto 03 years. Candidates must visit detailed notification for
more information in this regard.
Examination Fee: There is no application fee for SC / ST / PWD / All
Women / Ex-Servicemen and candidates belonging to Minority Communities and
Economically Backward Class, however all other candidates are required to pay
of Rs.100 in the shape of DD / Pay Order or Crossed IPO from any post office in
favour of “Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell,
Eastern Railway “, Payable at “Kolkata”.
How to Apply: Application for these posts can be made in prescribed
format. Application Form is available at RRC Official Website. Have an
application form, fill it up with proper details properly, paste a latest
passport size photograph on it, put signature to the space provided and send
duly furnished application with requisite enclosures by post to “Senior Personnel Officer (Recruitment),
Railway Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway, 56, C.R. Avenue, RITES Building, 1st
Floor, Kolkata – 700012” or drop application in person at the same address
by closing date 15/11/2013 till 5 PM.
