UPSC Exam Pattern of CAPF (Assistant Commandant) Written Test 2014

Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) Written Examination will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 13/07/2014 which will be comprised of two papers. Paper-I will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM and Paper-II will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM. After this examination, PST, PET, Medical Examination and Interview / Personality Test will also be conducted by the Commission and only qualified candidates in the written test will eligible to appear in further tests.

Note: Paper-I will be objective type and questions in this paper will be set in Hindi and English. Paper-II will be descriptive type and candidates are allowed to write Essay components in Either English or Hindi but other components such as Precis Writing, Comprehension, Language Skill, they will have to write in English only. Paper-I will be evaluated first, but Paper-II will be evaluated of those candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I. 

Those candidates who qualify in written examination will be called for Physical Standard Test / Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standard Test. Qualified candidates in these tests will be called for Interview / Personality Test of 150 Marks which will be conducted by UPSC. Final selection will be made by preparing a merit list on the basis of Written Test and Interview. Visit following link for more details regarding PST / PET.
