NTPC Engineering Executive Trainee (EET) Jobs through GATE 2014

NTPC Limited, an Indian public sector company based in New Delhi, is providing an opportunity to graduate engineers for being the part of this company as Engineering Executive Trainee in various disciplines. Before applying for this post, aspiring candidates will have to apply for GATE-2014 and will have to appear for this test because selection will be made on the basis of its score. Online application for the post will be made from 20th Dec 2013 to 18th Jan 2014. Candidates must apply for GATE-2014 by 01/10/2013.

Engineering Executive Trainee (in Various Disciplines)
  • Disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electronics
  • Qualifications: Full time Bachelor of Engineering / Technology or AMIE with 65% Marks in relevant disciplines. Those students who are in final year of engineering degree can also apply provided they obtain 65% marks.
  • Age Limit: Upper age limit for this post is 27 years as on 10/01/2014. Relaxation in age for SC / ST is 5 years, for OBC (Non-creamy layer) is 03 years and 10, 13 & 15 years for PWD candidates belonging to UR, OBC & SC/ST Category.
  • Pay Scale: Rs.24900 to 50500 + other allowance
Selection Process: Selection of Deserving candidates for the job will made by conducting Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates, on the basis of Marks obtained in GATE-2014, will be called for GD & Interview. Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of one year and after successfully completion of this period, they will be absorbed as Assistant Manager and will be put in pay scale of Rs.24900 t 50500.

Service Bond: Finally selected candidates for the job will have to execute a service agreement bond of Rs.250000 in case of UR & OBC Category and Rs.125000 for SC / ST & PWD Category to serve the company for a minimum period of 3 years after successfully complete of training.

Application Fees: UR & OBC candidates will have to application fee of Rs.150 at nearest bank branch of SBI using Pay-in-Slip. There is no fee for SC / ST & PWD Candidates.
