Employment-Notice-No.01/2015:
Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Limited (BSPHCL), Patna, department of
general administration, has notified for recruitment of 1280 Meter Reader for offices of its two subsidiary companies named NBPDCL and
SBPDCL. So, applications are invited from eligible candidates for these posts.
Mode of application is online which is being made from 08/05/2015 and

Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200. During probation period, candidates will be paid of Rs.8000 for 1st year, Rs.9000 for 2nd year and Rs.10000 for 3rd year.
Qualifications: Only those candidates who possess Bachelor’s Degree in
Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor's degree in Math with 50% for UR and 45% for SC / ST / BC / EBC, are eligible to apply for this post. Degree must be from a recognized
university / institute. In addition, Candidates should have Knowledge of Computer (6 Month Certificate course) and knowledge of Hindi, English.
Age Limit: Minimum age to apply for this post is 21 years and maximum
is 37 for UR, 40 for EBC / BC / UR (Female) and 42 years for SC & ST
Candidates. Age will be calculated as on 01/05/2015. Relaxation in age for PHP
will be given upto 10 years.
Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates for this post will
be made by conducting written examination. The minimum qualifying marks in the
test is 32% for SC / ST / All Female, 34% for EBC, 36.5% for BC and 40% for UR candidates. Admit card for written examination can be downloaded between 08/06/2015 and 13/06/2015.
Probation Period: Selected candidates for the job on the post of Meter Reader will be put on probation for a period of 03 years. Service will be terminated, if the performance of candidates
in probation period is not satisfactory.
Application Fees: Rs.125 for SC / ST of Bihar Domicile and Rs.500 for
all other candidates. The fee will have to be paid at any branch of SBI using
triplicate challan generated after online registration. SC / ST Candidates
belonging to other states will be treated as general category.

by the last date 22/05/2015 till 5 PM. After successfully submission of
application, candidates are required to take a print out of application form, and
send along with self-signed copies of testimonials, original challan ORDINARY post to “POST BOX NUMBER 12005, COSSIPORE POST OFFICE KOLKATA 700002”. It must reach at said address by 02/06/2015 till 5 PM.
