Selection for the post of Constable
in different Trades will be made by conducting PET, PST, Trade Test and Written
Test of 2 Hours. Eligible candidates will be issued a call letter for the test
/ interview 15 days before the date of test. It will be conducted at various
centres within their states. Candidates will not be reimbursed TA / DA for
appearing in the test. Well, have look on Selection Methodology of constable

asked to go through the height bar test, thereafter following test will be
conducted.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualified candidates in height test
will be called for this test which consists of 5 Kilometers race to be finished
within 24 Minutes. Here, original documents of candidates will also be checked
for next stage of selection.
Physical Standard Test (PST): It means, the measurements of height,
chest and weight of the candidates who qualified in previous stage will be
conducted here. PET & PST does not carry any marks; it will be just in
qualifying nature.
Trade Test: The test is qualifying in nature, only those candidates who
successfully qualify in PET will be called for this test. The Same trade as
entered in the application form by the candidates will have to appear for.
Written Test: Only those who qualify in above tests will be called for
this written test. It will be objective type of 100 Marks consisting of 100
multiple choice questions based on GA/GK,
Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude & English / Hindi. The
questions will be set in English and Hindi and answer can also be given in
either English or Hindi. It will be taken on OMR sheet. Duration of written
examination will be of 2 Hours.
Minimum qualifying marks in the test is 33% for SC / ST / OBC and 35 % for CG
& Ex-Servicemen.
