APSC Various Posts Recruitment 2013 Assam Public Service Commission

A notification for recruitment of various posts / services as mentioned in the following paragraphs has been published Assam Public Service Commission (APSC). For Selection of these posts / services, the commission is going to conduct preliminary examination and thereafter main examination. Preliminary test will be conducted for screening the candidates for Mains. Date of examination will be announced in due course. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidates need not apply whose result of qualifying examination will be declared on closing date.

Age Limit: Age of candidates should not be below 21 years and above 38 years as on 01/01/2013. There will be 5 years relaxation in case of SC/ST/PWD Candidates. The same date of birth will be accepted as mentioned on HSLC Admit Card / Certificate issued by Board / Council.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern: A preliminary test of 400 Marks, Main examination of 1400 Marks and interview of 200 Marks will be conducted for selection of eligible candidates on the above said posts. The Preliminary test will be conducted mainly for screening of candidates for Main Examination. Only those candidates who qualify in main examination will be called for Interview.

Examination Fees: Applicants belonging to SC, ST (p) and ST (h) category will have to pay of Rs.25 and fees for all other candidates is Rs.50 which can be made at any branch of SBI using Challan generated after online registration. The fee is for preliminary examination only and this is not refundable.

How to Apply: Application for these posts can be made online by visiting the website www.apsc.nic.in till 19/09/2013 Midnight. Applicants, before online application, keep their scanned photograph (not above 50 kb) and signature (not above 20 kb) in JPEG / PNG as well as all academic and personal details ready. Open “Apply Now” link, fill up application form with proper details, upload photograph and signature and submit. After submission, take a copy of system generated Registration Slip and bank challan, deposit appropriate application fees at designated bank and obtain candidate’s copy of challan having unique Journal Number provide by the bank. Re-visit the website, go to “upload payment details”, login with correct registration number and date of birth, enter journal number and submit. After submission, take a print of “Journal Entry Confirmation Details Slip” and preserve for further reference.
