UP Police Admit Card for Computer Operator Test 2016


A written examination for recruitment to the post of Computer Operator Grade-A Post is going to be conducted by UP Police Recruitment Promotion Board on 19/05/2016. This examination will be conducted online. All eligible candidates who have applied for this post can Download UP Police Admit Card by visiting http://prpb.gov.in. Only those candidates will be permitted to appear in test, who bring their admit card.

Total – 1865 Posts (UR-934, SC-391, ST-37, OBC-503)

Online Examination

Online Test will be of 200 Marks based on General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Reasoning and Computer Science. Minimum qualifying marks in test is 40%. Number of required candidates who qualify in online test, on the basis of merit, they will be called for Computer Typing Test.

Computer Typing Test

This test will be conducted in two Stages; (I). Computer Typing Test and (II). Verification of original Documents.

  • Computer Typing Test: Candidates will be given passage of around 600 Words in English and 500 Words in Hindi to type with 10 Minutes Interval after one test. Typing Speed of the candidates should be 25 wpm in Hindi and 30 wpm in English with 85% accuracy. Time will be given upto 15 Minutes to type. Hindi Typing will be taken on Unicode InScript Key Board. Computer for this typing test will be arranged by Board or Authorised Agency. Candidates are not allowed to bring their Key Board at the Centre of examination. Test will be conducted on selected centre.
  • Verification of Original Record: Qualify candidates in Computer Typing Test will have to produce all original documents for verification.
