Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), West Central Railway (WCR) Jabalpur has published a notification for the recruitment of Erstwhile
Group ‘D’ Posts with Grade Pay of Rs.1800 in WCR.
Matriculation or ITI is minimum qualification for these posts. Application for these posts will be made in prescribed format as given with the detailed

Eligibility for Erstwhile Group D Post
- Age Limit: Minimum age for this post is 18 years maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2014. There is 5 years relaxation in age for SC/ST, and 3 years for OBC candidates. Certificate of Matriculation or equivalent will be accepted as proof of age.
- Qualifications: Class 10th passed or ITI or any equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / Institute. Candidates who have higher educational qualification may also apply. Those are not eligible to apply who have appeared in class 10th examination and waiting for result.
Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates on Group
D post may be done by conducting a written examination and physical efficiency
test but complete information in this context will be updated later. Candidates
belonging to SC/ST category will be issued a free 2nd class railway
pass for appearing in the written test and PET.
Application Fees: Rs.100 for UR / OBC candidates. No fees for
SC / ST / Women / EXS / PH candidates. Non refundable fee will be paid in the shape of crossed
Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank or in the form of IPO from
any post office in favour of “FA & CAO, West Central Railway Jabalpur" payable
at Jabalpur. Candidates must write their name and address on the back side of
Bank Draft / IPO.
How to Apply: Aspiring candidates may apply in prescribed
format as given in the detailed notification. Fill up application form in their
own handwriting, sign and put left thumb impression, paste a passport size
photograph to the space provided, enclose Bank Draft / IPO with
application and send it with self attested copies of educational certificate,
DOB Certificate and Caste Certificate (if any) by ordinary post to the “Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway
Recruitment Cell, West Central Railway, RB-III/422/1-2, Nehru Railway Colony, Howbagh, Jabalpur (MP) 482001” on or before 15/01/2014.
Duly furnished application can also be dropped in the box kept in RRC Office upto
6 PM by 02/09/2013. Candidates from far-flung area can send their application
on or before 30/01/2014.
