Advt.No.01/2013:
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Limited, Eastern Sector (Assam) has
issued a notification for recruitment of various posts in A-II, A-I and W-1
Level on regular basis in different Pay Scales. Only those candidates are
eligible to apply for these posts whose name and qualifications are registered
in Employment Exchange situated in Assam State and have Employment Exchange Certificate
which should be valid during registration process. The job is transferable, so
candidates can be posted at any location within the country. Application for
this can be made online through the website www.ongcindia.com by 15th
of July 2013.

Qualifications: PG Degree in Chemistry for Technical
Assistant, 03 years Diploma in relevant disciplines for Assistant Technician
& Assistant Rigman, Matriculation with relevant trade certificate for
Junior Assistant Technician, Jr. Motor Vehicle Driver, Graduate Degree in
Science / Commerce and typing speed of 30 WPM and computer application
certificate of six month for Jr. Assistant, 12th with Six month Fire
service experience with a valid Heavy Driving Licence for Jr. Fire Supervisor,
Class 10th with 3 month fireman’s training for Jr. Fireman post.
Note: Physical Standard for some of the posts and age limit
for entire the posts can be seen in the detailed notification. Age will be
calculated as on 15/07/2013. Relaxation in age for reserved category will be
given as per rule.
Selection Process: Selection for these posts will be done
through written examination, PST, Driving Test, PET, Stenography / Typing Test
(if applicable) and personal interview. Test papers will be set in English and
Hindi. Written Test will be conducted on 25/08/2013, for which admit card can
be downloaded from its official website. The Test will be objective type of 2
hours consisting of 120 multiple choice questions based on subject discipline
and general awareness and aptitude. Each question carries 01 mark.
Application Fees: Rs.50 for SC/ST and Rs.150 for UR/OBC
Candidates. Payment of application fees can be made at any bank branch of SBI through
challan. There is no application fee for
Ex-Servicemen and PWD Candidates.
