UP Police Selection Process 2016

Selection for the post constable in Uttar Pradesh Police will be made on the basis of Matriculation and Intermediate Marks carrying 300 Marks and Physical Efficiency Test of 200 Marks. Written Examination will not be conducted for this recruitment. If you have applied and going to appear for physical test, you must go through its exam pattern and section process which is being described in following paragraphs.

Call Letter for Constable PET will be available online and can be downloaded by visiting http://prpb.gov.in.

Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates, on the basis of marks obtained in 10th and 12th examination, will be called for this test. PET will be of 200 marks. It comprises 4.8 KM race in 27 minutes for Male candidates and 2.4 KM race in 16 Minutes for Female candidates.

Medical Examination: Qualified candidates in above mentioned tests will be called for medical examination. In this test, they will be examined physically as well as mentally.

Final Selection: A merit list will be prepared, after physical test and medical examination and final selection will be made on that basis.
