A notification for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), Head Constable (HC) and Constable in Telecommunication in the Pay Scale of Rs.5200 to 20200 has been issued
by Sashatra Seema Bal (SSB), a CAPF
under MHD. Application for this can be made in prescribe format. A complete
application must reach the undersigned address by 20th June 2013. Aspiring
candidates fulfilling the minimum qualifications and physical standard for the
post can send their application within stipulated date. More regarding this can

- Qualifications: Matriculation with Diploma in Telecommunication / Electronics OR Class 12th with 50% Marks with Physics, Math and Chemistry.
02.Head Constable (Telecom)
- Vacancies: 632 Posts (UR-301, SC-100, ST-50, OBC-181)
- Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2400 GP
- Qualifications: Matriculation with 2 years ITI Certificate in Electronics OR Class 12th with Chemistry, Math and Physics.
03.Constable (Telecom)

Qualifications:
Matriculation or equivalent with science.
Age Limit: Minimum age for entire the above posts is 18
years and maximum 23 years as on 20/06/2013. Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years
and for OBC is 03 years.
Physical Standard: Height-162.5
cms, Chest-76-81 for ST Category. Height-170 cms, Chest-80-85 cms for candidates of all states except belonging to
North East, Leh & Ladakh, J&K and Himachal Pradesh. Height-165 cms, Chest-78-83 for candidates belonging to these states / regions. Weight: Corresponding to Height and age
according to medical standard. Eye Sight-6/6
and 6/9 of both eyes with wearing glass.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern: It comprises
Documentation, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written
Examination and Medical Test. PET includes 100 Meters Race in 16 Seconds, Long
Jump-11 Feet, High Jump-3 Feet 6 Inches and 800 Meters Race in 4 Minutes. Those
who successfully qualify in PST and PET will be called for Written Test. The
Test for the post of ASI & HC will be of 100 Marks based on General
English/Hindi-25, GK-25, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Basic Electronics-50
and for post the post of Constable will be of 100 Marks based on General
English / Hindi-25, General Knowledge-25 and Science-50.
Application Fees: Rs.50 for UR and OBC in the shape of Bank
Draft in favour of “Account Officeer, SSB, FTR HQ, Lucknow,” Payable at SBI
Brach Lucknow. Candidates belonging to SC/ST and EXS Category are not required
to pay application fees.
How to Apply: Duly filled in application with Bank Draft and
attested copies of Qualification, Technical Qualification, Date of Birth, Caste
and Domicile Certificate, two self address envelope of 4*9 size affixed postage
stamp of Rs.25 on each must reach “The
Inspector General Frontier HQ, SSB Lucknow, Sankalp Bhawan, Vibhuti Khand, Plot
No. TC/35-V-2, Gomati Nagar, Lucknow (UP) Pin-226010” on or before 20/06/2013. Application of those candidates
belonging to far-flung area must reach by 27/06/2013.
Name and Code of the Post must be written on the envelope.
