SSB Constable Recruitment Rally 2013 in Bihar, Sikkim & Assam

Government of India, MHA Sashatra Seema Bal is going to conduct a recruitment rally to fill up 895 vacancies of Constable (GD) in SSB, ITBP and BSF for Border Districts of Bihar, Sikkim and Assam. So, applications are invited from Indian Male Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for the post. No. of Vacancies can be increased or decreased as per requirements. The Posts are temporary but it may be permanent. Candidates who are selected for the job can be posted anywhere within and outside the territory. Eligible candidates can appear in this recruitment rally along with original documents on stipulated dates that can be seen in the upcoming paragraphs.

Eligibility for Constable (GD):

• Qualifications: Applicants should be Class 10^th Pass or should have equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
• Age Limit: 18 to 23 years as on 01/01/2013. Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years. Age limit will be calculated as per mentioned in the matriculation certificate only and no any other documents will be accepted for this.
• Physical Standard: Height-165 cms, Chest-80-85 cms for OBC, height-162 cms, chest-79-84 for SC and height-162 cms, chest-76-81 cms for ST.
• Medical Standard: Distant Vision-6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes with wearing glass.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2000 GP allowance like DA, Washing, Ration Money, HRA, TA, Free Uniform and Accommodation.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern: Selection for the post will be made by conducting PET, PST, Written Examination followed by medical test. PET comprises 5 Kilometers race within 24 minutes. Written Test will be objective type of 100 Marks consisting of 100 multiple choice questions. The questions will be based on General Knowledge, GK, Elementary Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude and test of English / Hindi.
