A Notification for recruitment to 541 various posts in different departments purely on contract basis for a period of 03 years have been issued by Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society, SRLM. Indian Citizens who meet the eligibility criteria as on 22/05/2013 can apply for any one of the posts. BRLPS is also known as JEEVIKA. This is an autonomous society under Department of Finance, Government of Bihar. It has been designated as SRLM to scale up Jeevika model in entire 534 blocks of 38 districts in the state.

Eligibility for Livelihoods Specialist: Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Technology / Animal Husbandry / Agriculture / Horticulture / Fishery from a recognized university / institute. Desirable: knowledge of work in Microsoft Office. Those candidates will get advantage who possess work experience in any related agriculture and allied project. Freshers can also apply for this post. Qualification for other posts can be seen in the detailed notification.

Selection Process: Selection for these posts will be made by conducting Selection Test. Only those short listed candidates will be called for this test. Details regarding application status, short listing, date and venue of the test will be available on its official website http:jobs.blrps.in.

Important Note:

• All the positions offered by JEEVIKA are purely on contract basis for minimum duration of 03 years. Period of the contract can be extended depending on performance.
• Those candidates who have applied for post of Livelihoods Specialist against earlier notification need not apply again. Salary for this post has been upgraded.
• Entire the above mentioned positions carry benefits like mediclaim & accidental insurance, annual performance incentive upto 30% of basic salary, laptop policy and self learning etc.
• Retired officials from permanent job in Bihar State Service / Banks / PSU and currently working candidates in these organizations can also apply for the post depending on meeting eligibility criteria.
