Sikkim Police Recruitment 2014 - 572 Constable and Followers

Sikkim Police, under Notification No.53/CO/3^rd IRB/2014, invites applications for recruitment of 572 Posts of GD Constable in Armed Battalions, Constable (Driver, Technical) in Communication Branch and Followers. Male & Female candidates with required qualifications are eligible for these posts. Aspiring candidates can fill up offline application in prescribed format. 02.	Constable Driver	43	42	85	Qualification should be same as for Constable (GD). In addition, they Should have a valid Transport Licence.
03.	Constable (Technical)	-	-	30	Class 12th Passed in PCM.
04.	Follower	04	03	07	Class 6th Passed.

Age Limit: Between 20 and 25 years for Driver, and between 18 and 22 years for remaining posts as on 01/03/2014. 5 years relaxation will be given for BL / SC / ST, 04 years for MBC and 03 years for OBC. In case of HG Candidates, 32 years for BL / ST / SC, 31 years for MBC and 30 years for OBC.

Physical Standard: Height: 5’3” for Male, 5’ for Female, Chest: 32” with minimum expansion of 2” for Male, Weight: 50 KGS for male and 45 KGS for Female.

Selection Process: Selection for entire the above said posts will be done by conducting Physical Measurement, PET of 75 Marks, Written Test of 80 marks, Skill Test (for Drivers & Follower Posts) of 20 Marks and Viva-voce of 25 marks. PET will be organized on various places on 2^nd, 4^th, 5^th, 9^th, 10^th, and 11^th April 2014 from 8 AM Daily. Qualified candidates in PET will be called for written test and after being qualified in this test, then they will be invited for viva-voce.

How to Apply: Prescribed application form can be had from the office of Commandant / 3^rd IRBn, PHQ, Gangtok and office of the District SsP (North / South / West). Cost of application for is Rs.70, which candidates will have to pay in the form of Bank (SBS) Receipt made under revenue head 0055-police-800 other receipts. A complete application in every respect with two latest passport size photographs must reach the correct address by 20/03/2014.
