A Notification for 2940 Lady Constable Vacancies in West Bengal Police 2013 has been issued by WB Police Recruitment Board under vide No.1024-PL/PB/3P-14/11, Dated 26/03/2013. Indian Citizens are eligible to apply for this post. SC/ST/OBC candidates who do not belong to WB will be treated as general category. Application for this can be submitted in stated format and it must reach the undersigned address by 23/05/2013.

Lady Constable

• No. of Vacancies: 2940 Posts
• Pay Scale: Rs.5400 to 25200 (PB-2) + Rs.2600 GP
• Age Limit: Not below 18 years and above 27 years as on 01/01/2013. Relaxation in age for SC/ST is 05 years and for OBC is 03 years if they belong to WB.
• Qualifications: Matriculation from WBBSE or equivalent from any central/state govt. board
• Physical Standard: Height: 60 cms for all category and 152 cms for Gorkhas, Garwalies, ST and Rajbanshis. Weight: Proportionate to height and age according to medical standard

Selection Process: Those who submit their application successfully will be called for Physical Measurement Test & Physical Efficiency Test which include 400 Meters race in 2 Minutes. Those who qualify in both the tests will be called for Written Examination which will be objective type. After this, an interview and medical test will be conducted for selection of eligible candidates.

Fees: Rs.150 in the shape of Postal Order / DD in favour of “West Bengal Police Recruitment Board”, Payable at Kolkata. SC/ST Candidates of WB are not required to pay fees.

How to Apply: If you fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post, you may apply in for this post prescribed. Application form can be obtained from Office of Commissioner’s of Police of all police commissionerate (Except Kolkata) or office of Superintendents of Police of all districts from 22/04/2013 to 22/05/2013 on all working days. You will get application form on the production of DD / Postal Order and Caste Certificate in case SC/ST or Identity Card in case of Exempted category Candidates. Duly complete application in every respect with copies of requisite documents and DD / Postal Order / attested copies of Caste Certificate / Identity Card must be submitted at the same place from where it was obtained or you can send it directly by post to “The Chairman, West Bengal Police Recruitment Board” on or before 23/05/2013.
