Indian army notifies for 118^th Technical Graduate Course Jan-2014 (also known as TGC-118) for grant of permanent commission. Married / Unmarried Male Engineering Graduate, Temporary Central / State Government employee, Service personal of Indian army, navy and air force are eligible to apply against this notification. Online application is being started from 15/05/2013 and can be made upto 13/06/2013 through the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Age Limit: Born between 02/01/1987 and 01/01/1994 for TGC and Born Between 02/01/1987 and 01/01/1991 for AEC.

Qualifications: For TGC: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Candidates studying in final year of engineering degree course are also eligible for this but they have to produce degree certificate within 12 weeks from commencement of training at IMA. For AEC: 1^st Class Master of Arts/ Master of Science in relevant subjects from AIU Recognized University.

Physical Standard: Height & Weight: 157.5 cms with Correlated Weight. Applicants belonging to North East Area or Hilly Area will get relaxation in Height upto 5 cms and those belonging to Lakshadweep will get upto 2 cms. Visual Standard: Distant Vision: Better-6/6, Worse-6/18.

Stipend: Rs.21000 PM during Training Period

Selection Process: Applicants will be shortlisted on the base of aggregate percentage of marks and only selected candidates will be called for SSB Interview which includes Psychological Aptitude Test, Group Discussion etc. After this, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of obtained marks in interview and educational qualifications. Those candidates whose name appears in Merit list will be called for Medical Examination.

Before applying, you must keep all the required information ready. Open apply online link, fill up application format with proper details and submit. Then, take a print out of complete application, affix a photograph attested by Gazzetted Officer, put your signature to the provided space and send with attested copies of required documents by Registered Post to “Directorate General of Recruiting (Rtg-6), TGC, Selection, West Block-III, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066” on or before 20/06/2013.
