Indian Air force Recruitment 2013 Join as Airmen in Group X (Technical) Trades

Applications in prescribed format are invited from Unmarried Male Indian Citizens to join as Airmen in Group X (Technical) Trades under Selection Test 2013. Applicants who are the citizens of Nepal may also apply for this. Note that, this selection test is not for selection as Pilots / Commissioned Officers / Navigators. Aspiring candidates with suitable eligibility may apply against this notification and send complete application to undersized address on or before 23/05/2013.

Airmen Group X (Technical) Trades
  • Name of Trades: Workshop (Mechanical/Smith), Structure, Propulsion, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical System and Auto Mobile
  • Qualifications: Higher Secondary or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics and English with 50% Marks in all subjects and 50% in Marks English. OR Candidates should have Engineering Diploma of 03 years in the disciplines of Electronics / Electrical / Automobile / Instrumentation / Computer Science / IT from government recognized polytechnic institute with 50% in overall and 50% Marks in English. If English subject is not in diploma course, then they must have 50% Marks in English in Matriculation or Class 12th.
  • Age Limit: Born Between 01/09/1993 and 30/12/1996.
  • Physical Standard: Height: 152.5 cms, Chest: With 5 cms Expansion, Weight: According to Height and Age, Hearing: it should be normal, Dental: Healthy gums and good set of teeth, Colour Vision: CP-II and CP-III for different trades, Visual Standard: 6/36 & 6/9, 6/12 & 6/6 for different trades.  
  • Pay & Allowance: Rs.8550 PM during training period. After completion of training, they will be paid of Rs.21414 PM and it will be increased upto Rs.37788 PM in subsequent years.
Selection Process: Selection of deserving candidates will be made through objective type written examination of 60 Minutes, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) comprising 1.6 KM race in 8 Minutes, Interview, Trade Allocation Test and Medical Examination.

How to Apply: If you are interested to join Indian air force and want to work as airmen, you can apply against this notification in prescribed application format in A4 Size Paper and send it with three unattested latest colour passport size photograph (out of which, one should be pasted on form), attested copy of Class 10th Certificate as Date of Birth Proof, attested copy of mark sheets, Class 12th / Diploma Certificate and Marks sheets of all semester, a self address envelope of 24*10 cms and SOAFP Certificate (if any) by ordinary post to “President, Central Airmen Selection Board, Post Box No. 11807, New Delhi-110010” on or before 23/05/2013. More than one application will not be accepted.
