Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should be an Indian citizens and local to Hyderabad City Police Unit Area. Age Limit: They should have completed 18 years as on date of this notification. Those are not eligible for this who have crossed 50 years as on date of notification. Educational Qualifications: For CAT-A: Qualified in SSC or equivalent examination which should be approved by board of Secondary Education, Government of AP. For CAT-B: Class 7^th Pass or equivalent examination. Those candidates who possess higher qualifications than prescribed above will also be considered for this job. Technical Qualifications: Skilled and Technical candidates will be posted under CAT-B. They must possess a valid LMV Driving License issued by Government of AP and ITI Certificate in relevant trades issued by Government of AP. Physical Standard: Height-165 cms (160 for ST) for CAT-A (Men), 160 cms for CAT-B (Men), 150 cms (145 for ST) for CAT-A (Women).

Selection Process: Selection will be made through Physical Efficiency Test which includes Race of 800 Meters in 170 Seconds for CAT-A, 200 Seconds for CAT-B and Long-Jump and Shotput.

Application Fees: At the time of submission of application, candidates will have to pay of Rs.25 in cash. Applicants belonging to SC/ST Category are not required to pay fees.

How to Apply: Application for this post can be made in prescribed format which can be downloaded from the website www.appolice.gov.in and www.hyderabadpolice.gov.in. Duly complete application in every respect with copies of supporting documents and application fees in cash should be submitted by person at “Goshamahal Statium, Hyderabad” on all working days from 29/04/2013 to 15/05/2013 till 2 PM. Application will not be accepted by post or through nominee. Candidates will have to submit their application themselves because hall ticket for 800 Meters race will be issued on the same day for Male candidates. Date of this test will be mentioned in the Hall ticket.
