UIIC is a pioneer Public Sector General Insurance Company in India. It requires Administrative Officer in basic pay scale of Rs.17240 to 32640 with other allowances. Minimum Qualification for the Post is Graduation or Post Graduate. Aspiring candidates should apply online through the website www.uiic.co.in by 18/04/2013. Selected candidates for the Job will be put on probation for a period of one year. During this period, company may terminate the service of the candidates, if they are found unsuitable for the job. After selection, candidates will also have to execute a bond to serve the company for minimum period of 04 years including probation period.

Administrative Officer (Scale-I): Total Posts-445 (SC-67, ST-32, OBC-133, UR-213), Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 60% Marks (55% for SC/ST) or Post Graduate Degree with 55% Marks (50% for SC/ST) from a recognized university, Age Limit: Minimum should be 21 years and Maximum should be 30 years for UR, 35 years for SC/ST/ECO/SSRCO, 33 years for OBC and 40 years for PH as on 31/12/2012.

Selection Process: Selection for the job will be made through online written test (objective type), Written Test (Descriptive type) and Interview. Online Written Test will be conducted on 26/05/2013. Qualified candidates in this test will be called for Descriptive Type Test followed by Interview. Final Selection will be made on the basis of performance in online written examination (objective type) and interview.

Exam Pattern: Online Written Test will be of 200 Marks consisting of 200 Multiple Choice Questions. This test will be of 2 Hours duration. It will be based on (i). Reasoning, (ii). Quantities Aptitude, (iii). English, GK, and (iv). Financial Awareness. Each section consists of 50 Questions and carries 50 Marks.

Application Fees: Rs.100 for SC/ST/PWD and Permanent Employee of UIICL, Rs.500 for all other candidates with Rs.25 as service charges to SBI for all categories. Application fees can be paid through any branch of SBI in the name of “United India Insurance Company Limited” by 22/04/2013. Candidates can also pay fee online at the time of online application.

How To Apply: You can apply through the website www.uiic.co.in by opening appropriate link. Last date for application is 18/04/2013. Before applying, you must ensure that you have a valid email id. After filling up online application, a challan will be generated, through which you can pay fees at branch of state bank of India from 2^nd working days after registration and within 03 working days. While applying online you can also make payment by using Debit/Credit Card or through net banking.
