SSC brings out a notification for Programme Executive & Transmission Executive Combined Examination 2013. It will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission for recruitment to the post of Programme Executive and Transmission Executive in various disciplines in Prasar Bharati which is the largest broadcaster of India and it also comprises Doordarshan and all India radio. 01. Programme Executive Group-B

• Vacancy: 360 Posts (SC-53, ST-26, OBC-97, UR-184
• Qualifications: Master of Arts / Science with record of literary / dramatic / debating activities / popular science / publications and knowledge of language that should be relevant to vacancy.

02. Transmission Executive Group-B (in Various Disciplines)

• Vacancy: 806 Posts (SC-79, ST-61, OBC-260, PWD-05, UR-406)
• Qualifications: Any Graduate Degree or Graduate Degree in relevant Disciplines with Proficiency in language which is relevant to vacancy

03. Transmission Executive (Production Assistant) Group-B

• Vacancy: 72 Posts (SC-12, ST-04, OBC-21, UR-35)
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any subject area with proficiency in language relevant to vacancy.

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2013. Relaxation in age for SC/ST category will be upto 05 years and for OBC category will be given upto 03 years.

Pay Scale: Rs.9300 to 34800 + Rs.4600, 4200 GP.

Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of objective type test of 200 Marks, Descriptive type test of 200 Marks and interview of 100 Marks. Those who successfully qualify in Descriptive Type test will be called for interview.

Application Fees: Rs.200, which will be paid at any branch of SBI through challan generated after online registration. Applicants belonging to reserved category such as SC/ST/PH and all Women candidates are not required to pay application fees.

How to Apply: You can fill up online application through the website http://ssconline2.gov.in. Part-I Registration can be done till 17/04/2013 upto 5 PM and Part-II Registration can be done till 19/04/2013 upto 5 PM. You have to follow these steps to fill up online application

• Open “Apply Online” link
• Fill up application format with proper details and submit
• Note down Registration Number and take a copy of Challan (if required)
• Deposit application fees to designated bank and get payment details or you can pay fees through NET Banking by going to directly Part-II Registration (this is not applicable for reserved category).
• Open Part-II Registration link and enter Registration Number and Date of Birth to login
• Upload Photograph and Signature, Enter Challan details or make payment through NET Banking and submit
