SSC Grade-C Stenographer Departmental Exam 2015
A Notification for Grade-C Stenographer Limited Departmental
Competitive Examination 2015 has been issued by Staff Selection Commission. This Examination will be conducted at several cities of the country such
as Allahabad , Bangalore ,
Chennai, Chandigarh , Delhi ,
Guwahati, Kolkata, Mumbai and Raipur
on 31/05/2015. Application for this
can be made in prescribed format as given in the detailed notification. A
complete application in every respect must reach proper address on or
before 20/04/2015. Candidates from
far-flung should send their application on or before 27/04/2015. Only those
candidates are eligible to apply for this examination that comes from the
following Services/Cadres.

Eligibility Criteria:
Any regular Employee appointed as Grade-D or Grade-III in the above said
Service/Cadres are eligible to appear in this examination. Age of the
candidates should not be more than 50
years as on Crucial Date. Relaxation in age for reserved category and some
department candidates will be as per rule..
Scheme of Examination:
Candidates who qualify successfully in three stages i.e. “Written Examination”, “Shorthand
Skill Test” and “Evaluation of
Record of Service” will be considered for Stenographer Grade-C. Written
Test will be objective type of 200 Marks based on “General Awareness”, “Comprehension
and Writing Ability of English Language”. Total time duration for the test is 2
Hours. If it is required, examination will be conducted in two shifts. Test
Paper “General Awareness” will be set in English and Hindi both the language. This
test carries negative marking, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong
answer. After qualified in written test, candidates will be called for two
remaining tests as mentioned above.
How-to-Apply: Aspiring
candidates who want to apply for this Examination should send their duly
complete application in prescribed format to the “Regional Director (NR), Staff Selection Commission, Block No.12, C.G.O.
Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110504”. Application must reach the said
address by the last date 20/04/2015.
Application of those candidates belonging to far-flung area must reach the
above address by 27/04/2015.
