Act Apprentice in South Western Railway (SWR) Hubli Karnataka 2015

South Western Railway has published a notification for engagement of 338 Act Apprentice in Carriage Repair Workshop, SWR, Hubli under Apprentice Act 1961. So, applications have been invited from aspiring candidates who hold ITI diploma, for Act Apprentice posts in various trades. Minimum age of applicants for this post should be 15 years and below 24 years as on 24/04/2015. They must have passed class 10th examination. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of obtained marks in class 10 followed by Document Verification and Physical Test. After selection, candidates will go for training for period of 1 year or 1 ½  year or 2 years respectively and they will get stipend for that. Interested aspirants may apply in prescribed format as given in the notification. Duly complete application with all essential documents must reach the given address by 24/04/2015.

• Qualification: Class 10th passed or its equivalent with ITI certificate approved by NCVT / SCVT in the relevant trade.

Training Period: 01 year for candidates possessing 10+ITI in NCVT, 2 years for 10 + ITI in SCVT and 1 ½ for Welder in case of SCVT.

Selection Process: The final merit list for engagement of Act Apprentice in South Western Railway will be done on the ground of obtained marks in Matriculation. Thereafter, candidates will be called for Scrutiny of Documents and Physical Verification in the radio of 1:1.25.

How to Apply: Application for this will be made offline in prescribed format. Take an application, fill it up with proper details and send with copies of all requisite documents, two latest passport size photographs duly signed by the candidates (one should be pasted on application and another on Call Letter) attested by Gazetted and two self addressed envelops affixing postal of Rs.5 on each ( No postal stamp required for SC / ST / PH) by Ordinary post to “Workshop Personal Officer, Carriage Repair Workshop, South Western Railway, Gadag Road, Hubli-580020 (Karnataka)” on or before 24/04/2015 upto 5 PM. Application can also be submitted by person at same address on all working days.
