Constable (Exe) & Constable (Dog Handler) Vacancies in Delhi Police 2013: 1088 Posts – A notification for recruitment to the post of Temporary Constable (Executive) Male and Constable (Dog Handler) Male has been issued by Delhi Police. Applications are invited from Indian nationals to fill up 1088 vacancies of above mentioned posts in the pay scale of Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2000 GP with other allowance as per rule. Out of total vacancies, 10% of vacancies are reserved for EXS Candidates. Eligibility Details such as Age Limit, Qualifications and Physical Standard can be seen in the following lines.

01. Constable (Executive)-Male
  • Vacancies: 1045 Posts (UR-523, OBC-284, SC-159, ST-79)

01. Constable (Dog Handler)-Male
  • Vacancies: 43 Posts (UR-21, OBC-12, SC-06, ST-04)

Pay Scale, Age, Qualification and Physical Standard for Both Posts
  • Pay Scale: (PB-1) Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2000 GP
  • Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 21 years as on 01/01/2013. Relaxation for reserved category will be given as per rule. 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Candidates
  • Qualifications: Class 12th Pass from a recognized board. Only 11th Pass for those who are a Constable in Delhi Police in the cadre of Bandsmen / Buglers / Mounted / Driver / Dispatch Rider etc. Candidates applying for Constable (Executive)-Male must have a valid LMV Driving Licence
  • Physical Standard: Height: 170 cms, relaxation of 5 cms for candidates belonging to Hill Area and ST category. Chest: 81 to 85 cms. But 5 cms will be relaxed for Hill area candidates and ST Category
Application Fees: Rs.100 in the shape of DD/Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque in favour of DCP/Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi. No fees for SC/ST/EXS Candidates

How to apply: Application for Constable Posts can be made Online or Offline both. For offline application, candidates can take a print out of application printed in Employment News dated 26/01/2013 or Download it from official website of Delhi Police and send it by completing in all respect with application fees and copies of caste certificate/discharge certificate / NOC attested by Gazetted Officer by ordinary post to “Post Box No. 8020, Delhi-110033” on or before 28/02/2013.
