SSC CGL New Exam Pattern 2016

Staff Selection Commission has revised the Scheme of Examination for Combined Graduate Level Tier-I Examination 2016. The new Exam Pattern consists of 100 Questions in place of 200 carrying 200 Marks. Duration of Tier-I Test will be for a period of 75 Minutes. Tier-I & Tier-II, both test will be computer based examination in place of OMR based.

Important Notes

  • There will be negative marking for each wrong answer
  • 0.50 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted.
  • Negative marking system in Tier-II test will remain unchanged.

Besides above, SSC has also introduced a Descriptive Paper of English / Hindi as Tier-III. Question paper of this test will be set in English and Hindi both, candidates have option to choose any one of the medium.

Merit List of qualified candidates has been uploaded at http://www.csbc.bih.nic.in . Those candidates who have passed this examination will be called for Physical Evaluation Test (PET).
