in Shipping Corporation of India Limited Jan-2013: The Shipping Corporation
of India Limited, a Govt. of Indian Enterprise, has invited applications from
Male & Female (Unmarried) Marine Engineers for Shipboard Training as Junior
Engineer. Application for this post can be made in prescribed format as
available on its official websites. Duly complete application in every respect
must reach the undersigned address on or before 15/02/2013 till 5 PM. Candidate can download application form till 06/02/2013. Selection for this post can
be made through interview which will be held at head office of Shipping
Corporation of Indian Ltd Mumbai. For other essential details in this context

Junior Engineer
- Stipend: Rs.25000 PM, Age Limit: Maximum age of the
candidates should be 28 years as on 01/04/2013. Relaxation for reserved
category such as SC/ST will be given as per rule, Qualifications: Candidates applying for this post must have
Engineering Degree of Four Years such as B.Tech / BE / B.Sc in Marine
Engineering with 50% Marks in Final Year. The above said degree must be
from Directorate General of Shipping and
Selection Process:
Selection for training as Junior Engineer will be made through Personal
Interview where candidates have to posses their all original and valid
documents such as Engineering Degree Certificate, MEO CL IV Part-A Certificate
etc and set of attested copy of all documents. Candidates will also be called
for medical examination in which they have to qualify successfully. Training of
selected candidates as Junior Engineer will be of 06 Months from date of
joining.
Application Fees:
Rs.1000 for UR
and OBC Candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category are not required to
pay application fees. Payment of application fees can be made at any branch of
SBI in the name of Shipping corporation of India . Bank details for payment of
fees can seen in the detailed Notification.
How to Apply: Aspirants
having required qualifications may apply for Junior Engineer Post in prescribed
application format as shown in detailed notification. Candidates are required
to download application form, paste a latest passport size photograph on it and
send it with copies of required documents attested by Gazetted Officer in super
scribed envelope by ordinary post to “Vice
President, Fleet Personnel Dept i/c, 3rd Floor, The Shipping
Corporation of India Ltd., Shipping House, 245, Madam Cama Road, Nariman Point,
Mumbai – 400021, Maharashtra, Indian” on or before 15/02/2013 till 5 PM.
