Department, Government of Rajasthan, has issued a notification for director
recruitment to the post of Forest Guard in the pay Scale of Rs.5200 to 20200 +
Rs.1800 GP. So, applications for this post have been invited from eligible
candidates. A written examination will be organized on 24/02/2013 for selection
of eligible candidates on the post of Forest Guard. Total Vacancies to be
filled up through suitable candidates are 852 for various districts of Rajasthan State

- Total Vacancy: 852 Posts (SC-142, ST-165, OBC-128, MBC-06, UR-410, Saharia-01)
- Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.1800 GP. During Probation period of two years, candidates will be paid of Rs.5600 PM.
- Age Limit: Minimum age for the post is 18 years and Maximum age 35 years for Male, 40 years for Female, 50 years for Ex-serviceman and 40 years for Permanent Employee of Rajasthan Government for Residents of Rajasthan. Maximum age 40 years for Male, 45 years for Female, 50 years for EXS and 40 years for Permanent Employee of Rajasthan Government for others as on 01/01/2014
- Qualifications: Class 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized board

- Heigh: 163 cms for Male and 150 cms for Female
- Chest: 79 cms (Unexpanded) and 84 cms (with Expansion) for Male Candidates. 74 cms (Unexpanded) and 79 cms (with Expansion) for Female Candidates.
- Walking Test: 25 Kilometers in 4 Hours for Male and 14 Kilometers in 4 Hours for Female.
- Sit-up: 25 Times in 01 Minutes for Male only, 22 Times in 01 Minutes for EXS/SC/ST/Saharia Category.
- Shot Foot (4 KG): 4.5 Meters for Female
- Cricket Ball Trough: 55 Meters for Male, 50 Miters for EXS/SC/ST/Saharia
- Standing Broad jambs: 1.35 Miters for Female
Application fees: Rs.72.50 for SC/ST of
Rajasthan / Saharia of Shahbad and Kishanganj Tehsils of Baran, Rs.172.50
for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / SBC of
Rajasthan and Rs.272.50 for UR / All Creamy Layer / All candidates not
of Rajasthan Domicile. The Prescribed application fees can be paid through E-Mitra
Kiosk or Common Service Centre, for which, candidates will have to pay of Rs.10
extra as application fees deposit charge. List of CSC can be found on its
official website.
How to apply: Candidates can fill up online
application themselves or it can be filled up through E-Mitra Kiosk or Common
Service Centre. The appropriate application fees can be paid at E-Mitra Kiosk
or CSC. Candidates who have paid application fees may fill up online by logging
on to www.examforest.rajasthan.gov.in
by the last date 10/02/2013.
