MOSPI: Field Investigator Recruitment in National Sample
Survey Jan-2013: 205 Posts – A notification for recruitment of Filed
Investigator has been issued by Ministry of Statistics & Programme
Implementation for various regional offices of National Sample Survey purely on contract basis. Total
Vacancies for this post are 205. Application for this can be made in prescribed

post of Filed Investigator will be made on the basis of Interview. Aspiring

Salary: Rs.15000 PM (Consolidated). TA/DA will also
be provided while on tour.
Age Limit: Minimum age of the candidates for this
post should be 21 years and maximum should be 30 years as on 01/04/2013.
Candidates belonging to reserved category and those who have experience in
organizing filed survey and filed data collection work will be given relaxation
as per GOI Instructions
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized
university with Economics / Statistics / Mathematics as one of the papers at
degree level. They must have fluency in English and local language as well as
knowledge of Compute application such as MS Office.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates after short
listing on the basis of qualifications will be called for interview. Selection
will be done on the basis of performance in interview. Communication in this
