MHA ACIO-II/Exe Jobs in Intelligence Bureau (IB) 2014: Selection Process, Exam Pattern

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Govt. of India has brought out a notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO-II/Exe) in Intelligence Bureau (IB). Recruitment of this post will be done through objective & descriptive type Written Examination and interview. This is Group-C (Non-Gazetted / Non-Ministerial) Post. Selected Candidates on this post will be put in the pay band-2 Rs.9300 to 34800 + Rs.4200 GP. Application for the post can be made online through the website http://mha.nic.in by 09th Nov-2014. IB Recruitment 2014 for ACIO-II/Exe
  • Classification: Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted / Non-Ministerial
  • Vacancy: 750 Posts (UR-207, OBC-301, SC-180 & ST-62)
  • Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 + GP Rs.4200
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized University. Knowledge of computer is desirable.
  • Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 18 years and 27 years. There will be 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. Age limit will be reckoned as on 09/11/2014.

Selection Procedure: A written examination and interview will be conducted for the selection of eligible candidates on the post. Successfully qualified candidates in written examination will be called for interview. Final selection will be made by conducting a medical examination.

Exam Pattern: Written Test comprised of 02 Papers; Paper-I (Objective Type) and Paper-II (Descriptive Type). Duration of the both papers will be of 1.40 Hours. Paper-I will be based on GA/GK, Reasoning, Comprehension and Mathematics and Paper-II will be based on English Writing Skill and Analytical Capability. Written test will be conducted on various 33 centres in all over the country. Candidates are required to select only one centre of them for this test.

Application Fees: Rs.100 for UR/OBC candidates. No fee for SC/ST and female candidates. Fees can be paid at any branch of SBI using challan generated online. Candidates can also pay fee through Internet Banking facility of SBI or using SBI Debit Card.

How to Apply: Only online application will be accepted to apply for this post through the website www.mha.nic.in from 11/10/2014 to 09/11/2014 till 11.59 PM. Online registration will be completed in two parts. In part-I application, candidates need to provide personal, academic and other required information while in part-ii application, they are required to make payment and upload scanned photograph & signature.
