Delhi Police Recruitment of Head Constable (AWO/TPO & Ministerial) Jan-2013: 254 Posts – Applications in prescribed format has been invited from Indian nationals for the recruitment of Head Constable (AWO/TPO) and (Ministerial) in Delhi Police in pay scale of Rs.5200 to 20200 with grade pay of Rs.2400 as well as other allowance. Out of total vacancy 254, 10% are reserved for Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. instructions. Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator / Tele-Printer Operator)
  • Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2400 GP
  • Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01/01/2013.
  • Qualifications: Class 12th Pass from a recognized board with Science and Mathematics as subjects OR NTC in the trade of Mechanic-cum-operator Electronic Communication System. Typing speed of 30 wpm in English on computer
  • Physical Standard: Height: 170 cms, Chest: 81 to 85 cms for Male. Height: 157 cms for Female.
Head Constable (Ministerial)
  • Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2400 GP
  • Age: 18 to 25 years as on 01/01/2013
  • Qualifications: High Secondary Examination Pass or equivalent from a recognized board. Typing speed of 30 wpm in English and 25 wpm in Hindi on computer.
  • Physical Standard: Height: 165 cms, Chest: 78 to 82 cms for Male, Height: 157 for Female

Age Relaxation: Candidates belonging to reserved category will be given relaxation in age as per rule. 05 years for SC/ST, 03 for OBC.

Application Fees: Rs.100 in the shape of DD / Bank Draft / Banker’s Cheque in favour of DCP / Recruitment Cell, New Police Lines, Delhi. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/EXS Category are not required to pay application fees.

How to apply: Application for this post can be made in prescribed format. Application form can be downloaded from Delhi police official website www.delhipolice.nic.in, www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in or can be taken print out from Employment News. Duly complete application in all respect with bank draft and attested copy of caste certificate/Discharge Certificate / NOC in case of SC/ST/EXS should be sent to “Post Box No. 8020, Delhi – 110033” on or before 28/02/2013.

Merit List of qualified candidates has been uploaded at http://www.csbc.bih.nic.in . Those candidates who have passed this examination will be called for Physical Evaluation Test (PET).
