Sub-Inspector and Constable Recruitment in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jan-2013: 366 Posts – A notification for recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Civil and Constable (Pioneer) in Central Reserve Police Force has been issued by Office of the Inspector General of Police, Northern Sector, CRPF. Only Male candidates of India who fulfill the required qualifications are eligible to apply for these posts. Total available for posts of SI and Constable are 366, it may vary depending at the time of final selection. Selection for the posts will be made through PET, Written test, interview respectively. Eligibility Criteria for both posts
01. Sub-Inspector (Civil):
  • Age Limit: from 21 to 30 years as on 01/01/2013
  • Qualifications: Class 12th Pass with Diploma of 03 years in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
  • Pay Scale: Rs.9300 to 34800 + RS.4200 GP

02. Constable (Pioneer):
  • Age Limit: from 18 to 23 years as on 01/01/2013
  • Qualifications: Class 10th Pass from a recognized board with experience of one year relevant trades i.e. Masonry / Electrician / Plumbing. Candidates having Certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute will be given preference
  • Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2000 GP

Physical Standard: Height 170 cms, Chest: Un-expanded 80 cms and expanded 85 cms, Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard. Eye Sight: 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction. More details are in the detailed notification

Age Relaxation: Candidates belong to reserved category such as SC/ST will be relaxed in age upto 5 years and OBC candidates will be given relaxation upto 3 years

Selection Process: There are different process of selection for both the posts. Selection process for SI comprises Physical Measurement, PET, Written Test of 100 Marks, Interview of 20 Marks and Medical Examination. The Process of Selection for Constable comprises PST, PET, Written Test of 100 Marks, Trade Test and Medical Test

Application fees: Crossed IPO / DD of Rs.50 in favour of DIGP for UR and OBC Category. SC/ST Candidates are not required to pay application fee

How to apply: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for post of SI and constable in CRPF may apply for the post in prescribed format as shown in the detailed notification. Applicants are required to fill up application form with proper details and send it with attested copies of requisite documents and two attested passport size photograph (one should be passed on the form), to the concerned office of “Dy. Inspector General of Police” on or before 13/02/2013. Address of the concerned IGP Office can be seen in the detailed notification

  • Written Test: 14/04/2013
  • Trade Test, Interview, Medical Exam: from 20/05/2013 to 25/05/2013

Bihar Police Constable Result 2015 Result of Bihar Police Constable Written Examination for 11783 Vacancies organized under Advt.No.01/2014 on 19/10/2014 has been declared by CSBC. Merit List of qualified candidates has been uploaded at http://www.csbc.bih.nic.in . Those candidates who have passed this examination will be called for Physical Evaluation Test (PET).
