Aspirants having Graduate Degree or PG Degree from a recognized University are eligible to apply against Recruitment of Clerks in Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB). Selection of this post will be done through online objective type test at some selected place in tamilnadu followed by interview. After selection on the post of Clerk, candidates will be put on probation for a period of one year at any branch / office of the bank in all over India. Position: Clerk in TMB

• Pay Scale: Rs.7200 to 20100 (Rs.15000 PM), Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Science / Arts / Commerce with 50% Marks or PG from a recognized university (Regular College) OR Graduate degree in Engineering with 55% Marks from a recognized university (regular college). They must have knowledge of computer operation. (Note: Those candidates are not eligible for this post who posses Degree from an open university & Correspondence Course). Age: Minimum age for Graduate degree holders is 24 years and for PG is 26 years as on 30/09/2012. Relaxation for reserved category will be applicable as per rule.

Selection Process: Bank will conduct an online test which will be purely objective type. The test will be held at various place in tamilnadu. Eligible candidates for the test will be informed by the post individually. Those candidates who successfully clear this test will be short listed in order of merit and will be called for personal interview.

Probation Period: Deserving candidates for the post after selection will be put on probation period of one year at any office or branch of the bank in all over India. During these periods, incumbent will be paid of Rs.8000 + DA. After successfully completion of probation period, they will be placed in the pay Scale of Rs.7200 to 20100.

Application Fees: Rs.150 for SC/ST and Rs.300 for all other candidates. It can be paid in the shape of demand draft in favour of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank ltd, Payable at Thoothukudi / Tuticorin or Tirunelveli

How to apply: Online application can be made till 28/11/2012. Before applying for Clerk Job against this notification, you need to Register yourself and get User ID and Password. If you have already done this step, you just need to login with correct user id and password, now you are required to upload resume, then visit “Apply online link” and follow other instructions. After successfully registration, you need to take a print of application and send it with demand draft to the Bank on or before 25/12/2012.
