Pay Scale: Rs.5400 to 2600

Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as on 01/01/2012. Relaxation in age for reserved category will be provided as per rule.

Eligibility: Class 12^th Passed from WBCHSE or equivalent with 50% Marks with diploma of 2 years in Elementary Education OR 45% Marks with diploma of 2 years in Accordance with NCTE OR 50% Marks with B.EI.Ed of 04 years OR 50% Marks with diploma of two years in Special Education OR Graduate Degree with 02 year diploma in Elementary Education. Selection Process: Commission will organize a Preliminary Test and Main examination for selection of Teachers in Kolkata Municipal Corporation for Primary School. Preliminary Test will be of 100 Marks consisting of 100 objective questions and Mains will be of 150 Marks. Duration of Mains will be of 03 Hours.

Application Fees: Rs.150 as application fees and Rs.50 as processing charge. It can be paid through challan form available on commission’s website. Those belonging to reserved category such as SC/ST/PH are required to pay Processing fees of Rs.50 only.

How to apply: Aspiring candidates having appropriate qualification for the post may apply the job and send duly complete application in prescribed format with challan and copies of requisite documents  to “Municipal Service Commission, 149, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road, Kolkata – 700014” on or before 31/12/2012 till 5 PM.
