HQ Western Air Command AIF Group ‘C’ Recruitment 2013 – 110 Posts: A notification recruitment of Group ‘C’ Posts such as Lascar, Washer Up, Safaiwala, Cook, Carpenter, Mess Waiter, Dhobi and Watchman in Pay Band of Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.1900 GP has been issued by various Air Force Stations/Units. Application for these posts can be made in such format as shown in the detailed notification. Aspirants whose ages are between 18 and 25 years are eligible for these posts. Minimum qualification for these posts is matriculation. Selection for the job will be made by conducting written examination. Eligible candidates should send their application in prescribed format with attested copies of all requisite documents to the concerned address. More details are provided in the upcoming paragraphs

Eligibility, Pay Scale and Number of Vacancies for Group C Posts
  • Total Vacancies: 100 Posts for various Air force Stations/Units
  • Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.1900 GP
  • Qualifications: Class 10th Pass from a recognized board with 06 month experience in Cooking from recognized Restaurant for Cook Post. Matriculation with ITI Certificate in appropriate filed for Carpenter, Painter and Lascar Posts. Class 10th Pass from a recognized board for all other posts with desirable experience of one year in concerned job
  • Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years. Relaxation for reserved category will be given as rule of Central Govt. of India.

How to apply: Aspiring candidates may send their application in prescribed format as shown in the detailed notification. Take an application form, paste a latest passport size photograph attested by Gzetted officer on it, fill it up with proper details and send with attested copies of essential documents and a self addressed stamped envelop of 24*11 cm to the concerned office of Indian Air Force. Cover of the application should be super scribed with the words “Application for the post of…”. Application must reach the concerned address within 21 days from publication date of this notification in Employment News.

Important Note:
  • Application should be sent through Ordinary Post, if you send application through Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier will not be accepted
  • Date and Time and Venue of the Test will be informed by post
  • Candidates will not be paid TA/DA for appearing in the written test / interview
  • Candidate will have to show original certificates at the time of exam
