HPSC: Recruitment of Civil Judge in Punjab & Haryana High Court


HPSC Civil Judge Recruitment 2012: 72 Posts
Haryana Public Service Commission, in short HPSC, has issued a notification for recruitment of Civil Judge (Junior Division) in Punjab and Haryana High Court. For which, HPSC is going to organize H.C.S (Judicial Branch) Examination 2012. Application for this post can be made in prescribed format (OCR Sheet) which can be obtained from office of HPSC. Total numbers of vacancies are 72 for different categories, out of which, 52 posts is actual and 20 posts is anticipated. Pay Scale for this post is Rs.27700 to 44770. Candidates having graduate degree in Law from a university recognized by Bar council of India are eligible for this post. Minimum age of candidates for this post should be 21 years. Selection for this post will be done through Preliminary Test, Mains and Viva-voce. Duly completed application in all respect must reach the undersigned address on or before 17/01/2013. Civil Judge (Junior Division)
  • Vacancies: 72 Posts (UR-37, SC-19, BC-05, EXS-08, PH-03). Out of which, actual posts are 52 and anticipated posts are 20.
  • Pay Scale: Rs.27700 to 44770
  • Qualification: Graduate Degree in Law from an university approved by Bar Council of India and Established by Law. Degree will be reckoned as on 17/01/2013.
  • Age Limit: Not below 21 years and above 40 years as on 17/01/2013. Relaxation for reserved categories such as SC/BC, Unmarried women of Haryana State is 5 years and for PH Candidates is 10 years.

Selection Process: Selection for the post of Civil Judge will be made through Preliminary Examination, Mains following by Viva-voce. Preliminary Test will be of 2 Hours Consisting of 125 Multiple Choice Questions. Each questions of the test carries 4 marks. The test also carries negative marking, 1/5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

How to apply: Applicants are required to purchase respective application form from the office of Haryana Public Service Commission, Bays No. 1-10, Block-B, Sector-4, Panchkula by paying in cash at the counter from 10 AM to 1 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM on all working days. Form can also be obtained by post for which more details can be hade from the detailed notification. Duly filled application in every respect must reach the Commission’s office on or before 17/01/2013. Candidate belonging to Far-flung area may send application on or before 24/01/2013.
