Factory Workmen Recruitment: 325 Posts
Ministry of Defence, Indian Ordnance Factory is going to
appoint Workmen in Semi-skilled Grade for its branch Dumdum and Nalanda. The
Factory is inviting online applications for this which can be made from 1st Nov to 21st Nov 2012. There are
different vacancies for both the Factories which you will be able to see in the
following paragraphs. A written examination and Practical/Trade Test will be
conducted for selection on this post. Look at the following Lines to know more

Eligibility: Matriculation
with NAC/NTC issued by NCVT. Visit Detailed Notification for more details in
this context.
Age Limit:
Minimum age for all the Candidates is 18 years and maximum for UR is 32, for OBC is 35,
for SC/ST is 37 years. It will be reckoned as on closing date.
Selection Process:
A written Test and Practical/Trade Test will be held for selection of the post.
Only Short listed candidates after written test will be called for Practical / Trade
Test. Written examination will be based on NCVT for Technical, GA, Reasoning
and Quantitative Aptitude of Class 10th Level. The Test consists of 100
Objective Type Questions, for which time duration of 1.30 Hours has been
stipulated.

Rs.50 but not for SC/ST/Women/PWD & EXS Candidates
How to apply: Application
can be filled up through online mode only from the website http://ofb.gov.in between 01/11/2012 and 20/11/2012 which will be completed in two parts. To apply for
Workmen in Ordnance Factory, all you need to do is open respective Apply Online link (Part-I), Select Trade in form and fill up other
required details Save. Now note down
registration Number and take a copy of Payment Challan (Not for reserved
category). Make payment in any SBI Branch and get Transaction ID. Again you
need to visit website and this time open “Payment
Details” (Part-II), enter the data (if applicable). Now print your
registration slip and send it with original challan to the given address on or
before 30/11/2012. Last date for
far-flung area candidates is 07/12/2012.
